Die Galerie rahncontemporary wurde im April 2008 in Zürich gegründet und befindet sich im Industriequartier in der Nähe zum Löwenbräu-Areal. Sie vertritt 10 Künstler aus Deutschland, Großbritannien, Japan, Mexiko und der Türkei. Wichtige Schwerpunktsetzungen der Galerie bilden die Präsentation, Vermittlung sowie Katalogförderung des künstlerischen Werkes. Dabei kommt dem Aufbau und der Entwicklung junger Künstler eine besondere Bedeutung zu. In fünf Ausstellungen pro Jahr wird ein internationales Programm vorgestellt, das abstrakte, figurative und konzeptionelle Positionen in den Gattungen Malerei, Zeichnung, Skulptur, Fotografie, Video und Installation umfaßt.

The gallery rahncontemporary was founded in Zurich in April 2008. It is located in the Industrial Quarter near to the Löwenbräu-Area. The gallery represents 10 artists from Germany, Great Britain, Japan, Mexico and Turkey. Special emphasis is to present and promote the artistic work, furthermore to support the production of catalogues. Thereby the gallery attaches a high importance to the build-up and establishment of young artists. An international programme will be shown annually in five exhibitions. It contains abstract, figurative and conceptual positions within the media painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, video and installation.
